just a few questions...my husband had these surgery's on july 1 2010 twelve days later had his tubes removed..before surgery his nose was totally crooked and could breathe out of his right side...after the tubes were removed he said he felt great could smell great n breathe great..now the right side is completely blocked and the right upper part feels hard like something is there blocking it its been really irritating to him so he tryed to stick a q-tip (i know probably not so smart but anyhow) up there and he said it feels hard like its a bone or something the other side is fine but yet his nose from the outside still appears straight...is this normal or something to be concerned about? should he still be completely blocked still because of healing? i have no idea i am new to all this? thankful for any help/advice!

Hi there,
I know that must be frustrating for your husband. I recommend calling his surgeon/ENT so he/she could scope to see what may be wrong. It could be chunk of dried blood but always good for the doc to check it out.

Hi there.

Just wondering if you were from the UK? If so get him to go to his GP and explain the problem and see what they say... Alternatively you could find the number for the surgeon's secretary and ask them to give him a sooner outpatients appointment. If you're in the US take Bronson's advice.

Hope that helps a bit

Liam
